Missionaries often have multiple channels to foster partnership and communication with supporters. Take a second to make a mental inventory of the different avenues you’re currently using: giving page, email newsletter sign up, Facebook group, website, WhatsApp group, Epistle page, ministry blog – these are just some of the pages we see missionaries wanting to share.
It’s great to have multiple ways for supporters to connect and partner with you, but it’s not so great trying to squeeze three to four different links on the back of your Prayer Card. This is where a service like Linktree or Lnk.Bio can be really beneficial for missionaries. If you’re not familiar with them, these services create a landing page to host links from multiple different pages in one place. Think of it like an online table of contents page where people can see all the ways to connect with you in one place. If you have several links you want to share in your Prayer Card, Case for Support Document, or other fundraising piece, you can include all of your links on a Linktree or Lnk.Bio page and create a single link (or QR code) for your supporters.
Another perk to using a service like this is that your link and accompanying QR code can remain the same, even if your giving link gets updated or you want to change the name of your website. This will help your printed materials stay up-to-date and useful for a longer period of time.
Setting up a Linktree or Lnk.Bio account is quick and easy. Their free plans allow you to host an unlimited number of links, and both offer paid options as well if you’d like greater customization. If you’ve purchased a Brand Board from us, you can utilize that with a paid account to match your landing page to the other materials we’ve designed for you. Your ministry might even be eligible for a free pro account through Linktree’s charitable organization program!
If you’ve got more than two links you want to share with supporters, we recommend consolidating them by using a service like Linktree or Lnk.Bio. That way, you can still maintain your connection avenues while also keeping your communication materials free of visual clutter.
